- PosturePals can assist patients to correct their posture. If the patient is very stiff or cannot achieve correct posture, PosturePals will not address this and a specific exercise regime to reduce stiffness and improve flexibility may need to be prescribed.
- The adhesive on PosturePal is of hypo-allergenice medical grade. However people with known sensitivity to medical adhesives such as those found on sticking plasters or strapping tape or who have broken or frail skin should not use PosturePals or should test on a very small area of skin first.
- PosturePals can remain in place for three days. If the patient has no skin reaction and they are continuing to aid them to correct their technique, they can leave them in place longer.
